A temporary home on Harrison Avenue

We spent decades in restaurants and hospitality before we found the Delaware. What drew us in was the chance to look after the whole of someone’s stay under one roof: a room, a good meal, a warm welcome at the desk, in the highest city in North America.

The building has stood on this corner since 1886 and it has held a lot of people since. Our job is to keep faith with that. We are restoring what should be restored and adding what the place has needed for years, carefully, room by room. No two rooms are alike, and we intend to keep it that way.

We hope the owners, guests and neighbors who came before would be pleased with what we are doing here. At the Historic Delaware Hotel there are no strangers, only friends and family we have not met yet.
